Here you will find all of the most-up-to date information about the upcoming 2012 tennis season!

Required Equipment:
Tennis equipment can be purchased at any sporting goods store or sporting goods department. Hollabird sports is a tennis-only sporting goods store and is an excellent resource for equipment and information.

1. Tennis Racquet:
Racquets range in price greatly. An inexpensive racquet is perfectly acceptable for a beginner/novice player. As your ability level changes over time, you may need to upgrade your racquet.
Please make sure you have/purchase a TENNIS racquet, NOT a squash or racquetball racquet.

2. Sneakers:
All tennis players must have sneakers. You will not be permitted to practice or play without a pair of athletic sneakers.
Sneakers specific to the sport of tennis have reinforced toes and sides to prevent wear and injury and are preferred, but NOT required.

3. Clothing:
All tennis players must have athletic attire. No jeans will be permitted on the court.
Athletic shorts/sweatpants must have POCKETS. This is for the safety and convenience of all participants.
Spandex may also be worn under athletic clothing and is considered an acceptable substitute for pockets.

4. Uniforms (for MATCHES ONLY): Team uniform tops will cost approximately $15. Players may wear BLACK shorts, sweatpants, warm-up pants, tennis skirts or tennis skorts. Please remember that these bottoms must have POCKETS or players must wear SPANDEX underneath their clothing.

5. Water
Tennis players MUST bring water to practice and matches. Running from the courts into the building for water during practice time is too time-consuming and disruptive and cannot be allowed except for in emergencies.
